Digitalism
Astralwerks is going to be bringing the German electronic/house duo Digitalism soon to the States at the beginning of June with their debut album, Idealism. The band has had a handful of singles released through Kitsune (including notables "Idealism" and "Zdarlight"), and like Simian Mobile Disco's debut (entitled Attack Decay Sustain Release), it's going to include the singles plus new tracks. Besides popping out some dance floor bangers, Digitalism has also remixed for the likes of Tom Vek, Klaxons, Presets, Daft Punk and The Futureheads. If you're a fan of Daft Punk or Midnight Juggernauts, you'll like these guys too.
I'm sharing the opening track to Idealism called "Magnets," a good smack in the ass for an album opener. If you like what you hear, check out their MySpace for more songs and cop that shit when it drops June 5th!
